Octagon Basketball Signs Moses Wright

Octagon Basketball has signed senior Moses Wright from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to their client roster. Wright will be joining McKinley Wright, Josh Giddey, Jordan Schakel, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl as they each prepare for the 2021 NBA Draft on July 29th.

The 6’9″, 233-pound Forward is from Raleigh, North Carolina and attended William G. Enloe High School.

Wright Averaged 17.4 PPG, 8.0RPG, and 22.3 APG for the 2020-21 season, making him the leading scorer and rebounder for the Yellow Jackets. During his senior year at Georgia Tech, Moses received the following accolades for the 2020-2021 season: ACC Player of the year, All-Atlantic Coast Conference (1st Team), ACC All-Defensive Team, USBWA All-District IV, Honorable mention All-American (Associated Press), and Georgia Co-Player of the Year (Atlanta Tipoff Club).

With Wrights career at Georgia Tech coming to an end he served as a critical piece in leading Tech to their first ACC championship in 28 years and their first NCAA Tournament berth in 11 years, while also finishing his career with 1,130point and 614 rebounds making him the 21st player in Tech history to reach 1,000 points and 500 rebounds.
